“The War Room prayer meeting has helped me in many ways. It draws me closer to God. Hearing everybody else’s prayers strengthens my faith with Jesus. The War Room really helped me when my Aunt was terminally ill. I led her to Jesus. She gave her life to Jesus and was reading her Bible. Jesus spoke to me and gave me Psalm 23 which helped me a lot, especially when she went to Glory to be with Jesus. The War Room is always friendly, and people are always happy to pray for you.”
“I am so grateful to Aspley Pentecostal Church for their Saturday War Room meetings and also for Sunday church meetings. During the Lockdown period I experienced a Saturday when I had contracted Covid and was so weak that I could only crawl on the floor. The wonderful people at Aspley prayed for me and the next day I was back to normal health.
Thank you so much Xxx”
“During lockdown I was diagnosed with Health Anxiety. Basically, I was scared of COVID & didn't want to go out. We have our meetings on Zoom & I'm absolutely convinced that these meetings have kept me sane. War Room is a prayer meeting & I've never been one for praying out loud but now have the confidence to. I feel that War room has helped me open up quite a lot & it's lovely to see my Christian brothers & sisters on screen. War Room is a meeting where we worship God, give thanks, pray & share what the Holy Spirit is telling us. I encourage you to come & join us on a Saturday morning. You honestly don't know what you're missing!”
“We like coming to the War Room because of the lovely fellowship, and knowing we can share all our prayer requests together before the King, Who is in our midst. Numbers 23:21 - the shout of a King is among them. Jesus said where two or three gather in His name, there He is in the midst of them. I have been healed while I attended War Room, and received words from the Lord. Thank you, Aru, Mani, and Melanie, for holding it together. Love from Allan & Frances”
“I thoroughly enjoy the War Room! The Lord has blessed me with so much confidence since attending, and I feel so encouraged to pursue prayer ministry. The meeting is led superbly and is really focused. It is a supportive environment that puts God and the needs of His people first.”
“I think it must have been about 10 years ago when I first met Pastor Colin Tilley. I had been confronted with a medical condition, and in need of prayer support. That friendship continued, and when the Saturday morning ‘War Room’ gathering went online (Zoom) I was able to join in. I was made very welcome, initially by Pastor Colin, and subsequently by regular leaders and members. So, what is special about War Rooms?
It is a rare privilege to be part of a God centred ministry of worship and prayer, with such an expectation of God’s miraculous healings and provision. Being online, it is possible for people, like me, living outside of Nottingham, to be part of this special group of people, earnestly seeking God’s presence and favour. A scripture that comes to mind is 1 Corinthians 14:26, that instructs us to come prepared to share praise & worship, prayer, revelation, spiritual insights, and gifts.
Lives have been touched and prayers answered through War Room ministry, so may it continue, ever growing in Christ like mission.”
